Sree Randu Moorthy Temple, Thiruvalathur
A temple that allures tourists and pilgrims alike with its striking architecture and structural beauty is the Sree Randu Moorthy Temple. It situated in Thiruvalathur in Palakkad district in Kerala.
There are two presiding deities – Annapoorneswari and Mahishasura Mardini (two different forms of the Mother Goddess). Situated on the banks of the Sokanasini at Thiruvalathur in Palakkad, the temple has a beautiful Koothambalam (traditional temple theatre) and a huge Mizhavu (a percussion instrument).
