The Chakkamkulangara Sree Dharmasastha Temple, which is widely believed to have been consecrated nearly 2000 years ago, is located at Thalore in Thrissur district of Kerala.
The temple is constructed in such a way that, the evening sun rays fall to the face of the idol, so the temple is famous for eye diseases. Devotees come here to cure eye-related problems and to offer gold and silver eyes is the major offering here.
The annual festival of this temple falls on Punartham asterism in the Malayalam month of Meenam and is related to Arattupuzha - Peruvanam Pooram festivities.
