Mammiyur Mahadeva Temple, Guruvayoor
Situated near the renowned Guruvayoor Temple, Mammiyur is a Lord Shiva temple known for its mural paintings. Here Lord Shiva appears as Uma Maheshwara (the consort of Uma). Goddess Parvathy sits to the left of Lord Shiva. The temple is situated in Thrissur district, Kerala. Beautiful mural arts that depict episodes from the Hindu mythology, and divine characters in the most elegant form can be seen here.
