A popular pilgrim centre in Wayanad, the Thrissilery Shiva Temple is one of the oldest temples in Kerala. The presiding deity here is Lord Shiva. The temple is linked to the renowned Thirunelli Temple in Wayanad. It is built to unique architectural proportions, has intricate carvings, and provides a calm and composed ambience. You can also see a small shrine of Jala Durga, located in a water body that originates from the Papanashini River near Thirunelli.
