Moidu Bridge
Back in the mid-1900s, Moidu Bridge at Dharmadom was the only connecting link between Thalassery and Kannur. Although built by the Britishers in 1930 CE, the bridge is named after T. L. Moidu Sahib, the State Legislative Assembly Member, for his exemplary work in promoting the welfare of the community. This 90-year old bridge was closed down in 2015 due to structural damage but never demolished considering its heritage value.
