Poothara at the Pindali Kalari, near Muzhakkunnu in Kannur District. Poothara is found in the south-west corner of the arena or enclosure, Kalari. A seven-tiered structure, this platform is used to worship the guardian deity of Kalari and it represents the seven abilities required for a martial arts practitioner.
