Rainbow Cruises
Alappuzha-based Rainbow Cruises has bagged the State Tourism Award for the Best Approved and Classified Houseboat Operator in three consecutive years, including 2005-2006. With the largest fleet of Deluxe and Premium houseboats, Rainbow Cruises has also received the Gold Star rating by Department of Tourism. The eco-friendly approach of the group has highly been lauded. Rainbow Cruises has invented innovative ways to reduce pollution caused by houseboats in the backwaters by setting up a sewage treatment plant.
