About the Institution | The first steps in the beginning of The College of Fine Arts go back to 1888, when the then Maharaja of Travancore founded The School of Arts. During 1970’s the college was affiliated to University of Kerala and Undergraduate Courses in Fine Arts (BFA) started. Now it conducts Master of Fine Arts (MFA) too. Its syllabus includes painting, sculpture, applied arts, theory of Aesthetics, history of Arts, and Visual Communication. |
