Why not to Alappuzha Beach?

At the Alappuzha beach, you can literally walk into the sea, thanks to the 140-year old pier built by Captain Crawford. One of the most visited places in Alappuzha, the beach is extremely active with a host of interesting activities like football and also can see street vendors selling sweets, ground nuts or hot steamed channa.

During the New Year the beach brims with festive charm due to the Sand Art Fest and the Beach fest. The beach also attracts children owing to the toy train in the Vijaya Park and also with the water sports and boat rides in the adjacent Sea View Park.  Watch the latest video of Alappuzha Beach (Alleppey Beach) in Kerala, India.
