Malleshwaran Mudi festival of Attappady


Malleshwaran  Mudi  festival or the Mahasivarathri is the most important festival celebrated by the tribes of Attappady in Palakkad. During this festival the sacred peak called the Malleshwara Mudi is lit by the Mudugar tribe. The festival usually falls  in the month of February – March every year.
