Cheeni Vazha Kizhangu


Cheeni Vazha Kizhangu is a tribal dish popular in Kerala. Cheeni Vazha Kizhangu is a tuber procured from the forest. It is very easy to cook and takes no other ingredients except salt. This dish can be used for breakfast, lunch or supper.

Ingredients

Cheeni Vazha Kizhangu
Salt to taste

Method of preparation
Take an earthen pot and place the Cheeni Vazha Kizhangu in it. Add salt to taste. Add enough water and leave it to boil. Close the pot with a banana leaf. Once the Cheeni Vazha Kizhangu gets boiled, remove the banana leaf. Remove the pot from the flame take out the cheeni vazha kizhangu from the pot. Peel its outer skin carefully. Watch how they peel it without using any tools.  The Cheeni Vazha Kizhangu is now ready to serve.
