Munreo Thuruth or Munreo Island is a slice of greenery lies nestled at the confluence of the Ashtamudi Lake and Kallada River, around 27 km off Kollam.  

Kollam DTPC offers enchanting country craft cruise at Munroe Island and the trip operates two times a day The fish farms, coir-making units, anganavadis (village Playschool), country craft making units etc. are some of the activities you can see around.
