Eravikulam National park located in Idukki district is an abode of rare flora and fauna. It is the home for the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and the exotic ‘Neelakurinji’ that bloom once in every 12 years. Situated along the Western Ghats, Eravikulam is the first national park in Kerala and is also where Anamudi (2695m), South India’s highest peak is located.
