Hill Palace


A majestic palace built in the year 1865 and has 49 exquisite buildings in its premises is the celebrated Hill Palace Museum. Situated in Thripunithura, Ernakulam, Hill Palace is known as the official residence of Maharaja of Kochi.
The Palace showcases Dutch and Kerala styles of architecture.  

The building harbours 18 main galleries such as the Portrait Galery, Wood Carving Gallery, Manuscripts Gallery Epigraph Gallery etc. Each gallery is arranged in a neat and informative manner. The oldest building here is the ettukettu and it harbours the heritage museum.
