Visit Kodanad Elephant Training Centre in Ernakulam to watch the playful giants up close. You can go for an elephant safari as well. The mahouts would assist you throughout your journey.

The Elephant Rehabilitation Centre at Kappukad in Thiruvananthapuram let you watch aged elephants and young ones alike, dwelling in peace in a haven designed especially for them. The ideal time to visit the centre is between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. If you reach around 10.30 hours, you get to watch the elephants being fed by their handlers.
