Malabar River Festival - the new Mecca of Kayaking


Organised on behalf of the Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society by Kerala Kayak Academy and Madras Fun Tools, the Malabar River Festival which is regarded as Asia’s biggest Kayaking festival will see 150 participants from across the world battle it out in the waters. This extreme adventure competition will be held across the rapids of the rivers Kuttiyadi, Chalipuzha, and Iruvanjhipuza in Malabar. The competitions would be held in three categories namely beginners, intermediate kayakers and a separate category for the best paddlers from the Indian Sub-continent.
