Mango Pickle
Mango Pickle is the catalyst that helps elevate any meal across the planet. Our very own authentic version of it here in God’s Own Country, manga achar, is the spiciest variant of the dish yet. It is marinated and soaked in a wonderful mix that has made it among the most loved side dishes in the entire world. Ingredients Chopped Mango - 1 cup Red chilli - 2 Asafoetida powder - 1 tbsp Green chilli chopped - 1 Chilli powder - 3 tbsp Fenugreek seeds (dry roasted & powdered) - 1 tbsp Curry leaves Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Gingelly oil - 2 tbsp Method of Preparation Heat gingelly oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds and add broken red chilli, curry leaves and switch off the flame. Now add chilli powder, asafoetida powder, fenugreek powder and light flame. Add water and boil for three four minutes. Again switch off the flame and add chopped mango and green chilli to the mix. Add salt. Mix well. Mango pickle is ready.
