Pottery

God's Own Country is blessed with the aesthetics of art and artistry. This land is renowned for its heritage of pottery. The way the traditional artisans of Kerala mould clay to make beautiful pots and other household utensils will certainly amaze everyone.

Kumbham, a centre for pottery artisans located in Aruvacode near Nilambur in the Malapuram district, owns more than 500 exclusive pottery designs to its credit. Ranging from kitchen utensils to interior décor accessories, Kumbham produces an array of pottery arts. It is one of the best places in Kerala to buy terracotta products. Apart from this, there are several other pottery villages in Kerala from where you can buy terracotta products.

The pottery villages of Kerala welcome you to experience the art of pottery making and to discover the tricks involved in it.
