Fighting with Sword and Shield

Featured in this video is the sword and shield fight in Kalaripayattu, the marital art form of Kerala. Sword (vaal) and shield (paricha) have a prominent place in Kalaripayattu since a royal glory had been attached to these two weapons. There are different methods of fighting with the sword and shield.
