Thenmala

Thenmala, India's first planned ecotourism destination invites you to experience adventure like never before. ‘Thenmala’ translates to 'Honey Hill' and so it is no surprise that high-quality honey is exported from this area.

A natural habitat of diverse flora and fauna, this unique place harbours fragile ecosystem. Thenmala was selected by the World Tourism Organisation as one of the world's best eco-friendly projects. 

The adventure zone here offers mountain biking, trekking, rock climbing, river crossing etc. The leisure zone here has an amphitheatre, Nakshatravanam, a sculpture garden etc.
