Sree Poornathrayeesa Temple in Ernakulam is noted for its festivities and traditions. Vrischikam Festival is an eight-day-long annual festival of this temple.

Ezhunnallippu,  the procession of the deity is the most captivating visual of this festival. Fifteen bejewelled elephants accompany the deity along with the dynamic Pancharimelam.

This temple is built in a traditional Kerala style of architecture with copper plates, wooden panels, and granite tiles. Lord Vishnu seated on the serpent god Ananthan is the presiding deity here and is worshipped as Santhaana Gopala Moorthy (Saviour of infants).
