Goddess Lakshmi & Goddess Saraswati

Featured in this video are the whitewood sculptures of two goddesses – Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati. In India, the Hindus consider Goddess Lakshmi as the one who provides prosperity in life. And on the other hand Goddess Saraswati is the one who blesses with knowledge and helps one to excel in music and arts.

The sculptures of these two goddesses are quite popular as souvenir items, but also find a place in Hindu households as objects of worship. This fine sculpture work shows the brilliance of the craftsmen of Kerala.
