Located at Sulthan Bathery, the temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It is believed that the earlier name of Sulthan Bathery, Ganapathyvattom was due to the presence of this temple here. The temple festival falls in the Malayalam month of Makaram (January/February) and it is attended by thousands of devotees.
